Chris and Sarah (2013-09-07)

Back in September I had the privilege of flying to northern Michigan to witness the wedding of my college friend Chris Bacon, to his beautiful bride Sarah. Chris and Sarah asked if I would take the photos of their wedding and I was more than happy to oblige!

The wedding took place at “45 North” winery in Leelenau Michigan. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The weather was perfect and although it looked like it might rain, Mama Nature held off the drops until after the wedding.

We had an amazing time witnessing Chris and Sarah wed and I had a blast taking the pictures for them. Additional photos can be found at

Now on to the pictures…

We did a practice run of the “first look” and Chris was surprised to find Sarah in a dress he had already seen her in. Turns out she decided she wanted to surprise him with the real dress but didn’t tell him before our “practice run”. It was a fun little surprise for him 🙂

There was an amazing pier at the bride and grooms rental house and I knew it would be a perfect place to go take our photos.Chris and Sarah on the dock 06 07 08
I got to have a bit of fun with the boys. It was especially fun since I’ve known these guys for the last 12 years!
