Back in September I had the privilege of flying to northern Michigan to witness the wedding of my college friend Chris Bacon, to his beautiful bride Sarah. Chris and Sarah asked if I would take the photos of their wedding and I was more than happy to oblige!
The wedding took place at “45 North” winery in Leelenau Michigan. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The weather was perfect and although it looked like it might rain, Mama Nature held off the drops until after the wedding.

We did a practice run of the “first look” and Chris was surprised to find Sarah in a dress he had already seen her in. Turns out she decided she wanted to surprise him with the real dress but didn’t tell him before our “practice run”. It was a fun little surprise for him 🙂
There was an amazing pier at the bride and grooms rental house and I knew it would be a perfect place to go take our photos.
I got to have a bit of fun with the boys. It was especially fun since I’ve known these guys for the last 12 years!
Then it was time for the family photos!
