Eagle Castle

Eagle Castle

Eagle Castle is *another* winery castle. I keep posting wine shots and now I keep posting *Castle* wine shots. Eagle Castle is different than yesterdays Castle (Castello di Amorosa) and this time we’re now more south …. in Paso Robles to be exact. We didn’t actually go wine tasting here but I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of the castle at night.

My friend and I pulled into the Eagle Castle parking lot just after the sun had gone down. There was still some color in the sky which is why you see some nice blue and purples. I ended up taking a couple different exposures because the lights kept causing clipping! This is not an HDR — instead I just blended a couple exposures (mostly the normal exposure and then a dark exposure to get rid of the highlights) to get this photo!
