Purply Rain

Purply Rain

The other day my roommate turned to me and said ”you know, you should be a macro photographer. I like your macro photos the best.” I think I do landscapes just OK too but I do agree with her that I have some nice flower photos as well. It happened to rain yesterday and I knew that meant 1) rain droplets on the flowers and 2) soft light. I came home early from work grabbed my camera and went out and shot.

I found this petal lying on a wooden fence near my apartment and couldn’t help but fall in love with the texture in this scene.
